Meet the Print Tech Team: Joanna Hurt
Position: Press Operator
Joanna started with handwork jobs at home when she had young children. When the kids grew older, Joanna began working at a series of local printers with more handwork and bindery. When she moved to Print Tech, she began operating presses.
Joanna now routinely runs 3 presses at a time: OCE 6250, OCE 6320 and the Canon Inkjet 300.
Time at Print Tech: 10+ years
Time in Print Industry: 30+ years
Personal tidbits:
Joanna has 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
For many years, Joanna was a ranked billiards player in a men’s league; she was also the captain of her team.
Her sons now have lead the family efforts in her favorite sport.
Joanna enjoys cooking, baking and reading.
More recently she spends her free time chasing after her grandchildren.
